Be Still & Let God Lead 🙌🏽⚓️✨
“Be still, and know that I am God.” - Psalm 46:10
There is something beautiful about Sundays.
It gives us permission to slow down. To breathe. To reflect on where we’ve been and gently prepare our hearts for where we’re going.
Sometimes we spend SO much time trying to figure everything out— our next move, our relationships, our purpose, our finances, our future; that we forget something important:
We were never meant to carry everything alone.
Being still doesn’t mean giving up.
It doesn’t mean you aren’t ambitious.
It doesn’t mean you are falling behind.
Sometimes, being still is just an act of faith.
It’s saying, “God, I don’t have all of the answers, but I trust You enough to stop trying to control everything.”
Maybe you’ve been waiting for an answer. Maybe you’ve been asking God to show you what’s next. Maybe you’re in a season where things don’t look the way you imagined they would.
Take a breath.
You don’t have to have the entire plan today.
God can reveal the next step without revealing the entire staircase.
This week I reflected on:
What am I trying to control that I need to surrender to God?
Where having I been rushing instead of trusting?
What would change if I truly believed that God was already working behind the scenes?
What is one thing I can release this week?
I encourage you to ask yourself these same questions. Write them down. Pray over it. Then give yourself permission to stop carrying it.
Our Sunday Reminder:
We are not behind. We are not forgotten. We don’t have to force what God is asking us to trust Him with.
There is purpose in waiting. There is growth in the process. There is peace in surrender.
And sometimes, the strongest thing we can do is simply become still enough to hear where God is leading us next.
This Week’s Anchor:
“I don't need to know everything. I just need to trust the One who does.”
So for whatever this next week brings, remember to stay anchored.
Anchored In Faith.
Anchored In Grace.
Anchored In Christ.
